Life To The Fullest

Living life to it's fullest is what people want.  But what is life to it's fullest?  Ask five different people and you'll probably get five different answers.  We've tried them all:  wealth, fame, cars, adrenaline, houses, pleasure.  There's nothing under the sun that people haven't tried to live life to it's fullest.  All of those things leave us wanting more.

Funny how wanting more leads most people to try things that just leave them wanting more.  It's a vicious cycle.  You know what I'm talking about.  It's tragic that most people don't know the one thing that breaks the cycle.  It's even more tragic that those who do don't share it!

Recently, I've watched stories of people I know with close family members who are dying of cancer.  It breaks my heart to see these people suffering.  If I had a cure I would be on their doorstep as soon as possible, no hesitation.  But why do I hesitate sharing the answer to living life to it's fullest?

Jesus Christ said...
The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.  (John 10:10)
When we pursue temporary pleasures hoping for lasting satisfaction we allow our lives to be stolen away.  But when we follow Jesus' plan for life we find eternal satisfaction and purpose.

So, why don't more people follow Jesus?  Is it because those of us who say we do don't do a good job of following him and sharing his life with others?  I am guilty!

It's simple.  Jesus gives life.  He's given it to you.  Now pass it on.  Share it by the way you talk, things you do, how you spend your money, where you go, how you think.  Encourage your children to do the same.

Our Kids Summit HomeFront (Click HERE) and our Kids Safari HomeFront (Click HERE) stories this week are all about sharing the love and life of Jesus with others.

So, who will you share life with?
