Home Sweet Home

So, it's official.  Camp is in the books.  We had 51 children and 18 leaders attend this year.  Each day was filled with both fun and challenge.  It was great to see our group grow together in their relationships, but the greatest reward had to be how our group responded to the challenge to be Survivors in Christ.
Our camp speaker, Dan Meers, challenged us from the Word to be prepared to go home and spend our life on things that matter for eternity.  Our departing thought was a quote that Dan has over his desk at work that says,
Life is like a coin.  You can spend it any way you wish but you only get to spend it one time, so spend it wisely.
Now that we're home, that challenge begins.  For may of us, we dedicated our life to this pursuit.  We need others to join us.  Most importantly, if you are a mom or dad, we need your encouragement.  We need you to set the pace.  We are ready to follow your lead.  Let's go!

If you had a child go to LSCC Kids Camp, ask your child to share their week with you.  Many made life changing decisions.  They are primed to begin their journey to discover God's plan for their life.

Thanks for allowing your child to attend camp.  It was a blessing to be there and share the experience with them.
